While waiting can be said as a passive action, where you seem not to care or not do anything, it is perhaps one of the greatest ways that patience can be tested. True enough, it is least understood when seen in a perspective, but the reality is— there is virtue in patience. If realized to the full extent, all rewards in life are achieved while waiting. There is no instant gratification in life. Everything undergoes a process, and process takes time, and time takes patience. At the end, when we consider the waiting that we have endured in life, we will know that somehow there are always the rewards if we wait and what we wait for are treasures that soon will reveal themselves.
